Arsenii Abduraimov

Arsenii Abduraimov

Arsenii started the green transport revolution in Ukraine. As a technical engineer and experienced businessman, he has always been engaged in the car market and has worked in the EV industry since 2008. He initiated widespread awareness of electric transport in Ukraine (bioauto.com.ua) and endeavoured to change legislation and attitude towards green transport and charging networks. Since 2015, Arsenii is a Chairman of the Board of Electric Vehicle Association of Ukraine (ev-ua.org), and in the same year, became a certified engineer-technologist for the assembly of EVs. Through mind and matter, Arsenii started Ukraine on its way to clean, fresh air.

Denis Rakcheev

Denis Rakcheev

Denis Rakcheev, a Chemical Engineer at Alevo Battery Technology GmbH, became interested in global warming and related issues after he finished his master’s thesis in physical chemistry in Siberia and gained experience in environmental chemistry in Germany. In 2014, he started a project on increasing the efficiency and the electric range of hybrid vehicles. Since then, the concept of storing electricity as a chemical reaction became the major focus of his professional activity.

Hanna Yanchuk

Hanna is the Deputy Head of the Board for Development Electric Vehicle Association of Ukraine. The association unites supporters and users of electric cars to promote electric vehicles, setting up the infrastructure of charging stations, development and adoption of legal frameworks for the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly transport, saving scientific and industrial potential and attract it to creation new jobs in Ukraine. Our purposes are developing of EV’s market in Ukraine and representation of Ukraine in the world “green” market.

Jacek Fior

Jacek Fior

Jacek is an entrepreneurial type who sees opportunities all around. He runs his own corporate language training company and international translation agency, Quest Corporate Language Solutions. One of his many passions, besides card tricks and mixology, is electric cars and their introduction on the market. He is currently working on launching the Polish platform of CleanTechnica -- cleantechnica.pl -- in the hopes of helping people to understand the revolution we are witnessing. Jacek is also a founding partner of an electric carsharing company.

Jose Pontes

Always interested in the auto industry, particularly in electric cars, Jose has been overviewing the sales evolution of plug-in vehicles through the EV Sales blog since 2012, allowing him to gain an expert view on where EVs are right now and where they are headed in the future. The EV Sales blog has become a go-to source for people interested in electric car sales around the world. Extending that work and expertise, Jose is now a partner in EV-Volumes.

Marcin Mizgalski

Marcin Mizgalski is a pioneer and challenger. He challenged the Polish system and started his own PV power plant in his garden, leaving non-believers in awe. As a former marketing director at major Polish enterprises including the Warsaw Stock Exchange and Telekomunikacj Polska, a founder and creator of numerous businesses and portals, Marcin now enjoys his adventure with renewable energy at both personal and professional levels. He is a passionate blogger, market influencer, and most importantly, environment lover. Let's find out if he has buried the hatchet with the powerful energy utilities!

Michael Thornhill is the Founder and Managing Director of Rebalance Recruitment GmbH, renewable energy recruitment specialists based in Berlin. As Michael relays, Rebalance Recruitment consistently emphasizes, "If you want to make a change, you have to be pro-active and lead from the front." That is how it has built the success of its business within renewable energy recruitment.

It also wants to give something back to the environment, to minimise and help reverse the impacts that years of fossil fuel use and the industrial revolution has caused to our planet. The time has come where it is too late for all of us to be spectators in the future of our world. The time has come where it is our duty to make the change that we want and need to see. Michał Jarczyński

Michał Jarczyński

Michał Jarczyński, head of the Energy unit of IPM (Poznań), is focused on developing financial & organizational e-mobility solutions for the municipal sector.

Michał Jarczyński is a graduate of Poznań University of Technology’s Faculty of Machines and Transportation (1992) and completed postgraduate studies in finance at Poznań University of Economics (2000). He has managed numerous manufacturing and consulting companies. Michał also won an award from the Minister of Industry in a competition for “most interesting initiatives in business development” (1993).

Since 1998, Michał has worked for Arctic Paper Kostrzyn SA (beginning as a Financial Director and in 2002 becoming the President of the Board of Directors). From April 2009 until 2013, he was the CEO of the international group of companies that is the parent of that company – Arctic Paper. During 2005–2006, Michał supervised the development of a combined cycle power plant in Kostrzyn on the Odra River. Within Arctic Paper, he supervised 4 CHPs (i.e. combined cycle power plants in Poland, a hydroelectric power station and a biomass cogeneration plant in Sweden, as well as a fossil fuel power plant in Germany). Since 2013, Michał has been President of the Board of Directors at ENEA Operator. Since October 2013, he has also been a Member of the Board of the Polish Association of Power Transmission and Distribution.

Michal Ramczykowski

Michał Ramczykowski

Michał Ramczykowski graduated from Wroclaw University of Economics in 1997, Department of Management and Marketing. Since November 1998 he has been working in Polish Copper Promotion Centre (PCPC). His focus has been on managing electrical & energy projects with special interest in coordinating market development projects on the Polish market. Michał co-ordinated IEE Project on 'Energy Efficient Electric Motor Systems in New Member Countries' (Motor Challenge). In 2008 he was nominated as the Managing Director of the PCPC. He continued to manage Energy & Electricity Projects in Poland and CEE with special focus on Energy Policy and Leonardo ENERGY Projects as well as Building Constructions, Health & Environment, Communications and PR. He completed an MBA course in 2011 and earned a diploma in Business Mediation in 2013. After reorganization of the Copper Alliance network in Europe and the company changing its name to Europejski Instytut Miedzi (European Copper Institute Poland), Michał has continued as the company’s Managing Director.

Robert Schulze

Robert Schulze

Robert Schulze has completed a technical education as well as a business degree. He started his career as a controller for an airline consolidator, a market leader in Germany, and later became the project lead for an ERP system change at a US subsidiary. In a period of one and a half years, he lived and worked between Los Angeles, New York City, and Berlin working on this project. In 2014, Robert founded Vilgard Motor UG.

Roman Tabaka

Roman Tabaka

Roman Tabaka is a pioneer of new technologies in Poland. As an electronics expert and constructor, he started a local radio station, Elka, in Leszno in 1993. In the year 2000, he built the first wireless internet network in Poland, called PRONET, which provides service to more than 3000 clients in Leszno and the surrounding area.Roman's vast experience, ambition, and perseverance seemingly guarantee the success of the projects he gets involved in. For more than 5 years now, Roman has been the president of T&T Proenergy, which tests the efficiency of photovoltaic installations and is one of the very first companies in Poland to do so. The company's installation in Leszno has been used by banks in Poland to assess risk and income in the bank loan procedure. Today, T&T Proenergy supplies the most efficient state-of-the-art PV solutions to generate electricity from solar energy

Roman Targosz

Roman Targosz

Roman Targosz graduated from Wroclaw Technical University in Poland in 1986 in the Power Engineering Department. His employment experience included working for ABB in the manufacturing of traction and synchronous machines and open pit industry equipment. In 1995, he graduated from the ABB Executive Management Development Program.

In 2000, Roman joined the European Copper Institute, where he works till today as Energy and Electricity Project Manager, responsible for power quality, energy efficiency of transformers, energy management, and advocacy programs. He is deeply involved in the e-learning activities of Leonardo Academy.

Sebastian Koziołek

Sebastian Koziołek

Sebastian Koziołek, PhD, works at the University of Technology in Wrocław at the faculty of Mechanical Engineering as Chair of Design and Research of Machines. Sebastian Koziołek is a mobile scientist involved in the research of predicting the development of technology and innovation engineering as well as their application in solving complex mechanical engineering problems and developing new products and services. Sebastian completed his engineering course of studies at Nottingham Trent University in 2002 as part of the Socrates–Erasmus program. Winner of the European program Leonardo da Vinci, where he designed an installation for mixing components in pharmaceutical production in SkidTek in Ireland.

In 2010, Sebastian completed a three-month science internship as a visiting professor at George Mason University in the USA. He is a three-time scholarship winner in the best young scientists program of the University of Wrocław as part of the Młoda Kadra project. Sebastian also participated in the prestigious program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education called “TOP 500 Innovators,” in which he did another internship on commercialization of scientific findings at Stanford University in Silicon Valley. In 2014 and 2015, together with the University of Technology in Milano and Sydney University, Sebastian developed and researched a method for predicting developments in technology. He is currently doing research in predicting developments in technology, innovative design, renewable energy, creativity, and management; cooperating with many universities and companies around the world.

Sergei Nikulin

Sergei Nikulin

Sergei is one of the few guys who started promoting and accelerating the acceptance of electric vehicles in Ukraine. It took his team less than one year to prepare and organize the first international electric vehicles tradeshow -- Plug-In Ukraine. The next EV tradeshow will take place on April 7–9, 2017 in Kiev. His team has set up an online platform -- emobilis.co -- where you can find up-to-date information about the EV industry not only in Ukraine but in other countries as well. The team is now closing negotiations for a 30% stake acquisition with a Ukrainian company that will produce charging stations locally. It will help to speed up infrastructure development in the country, which is a key in EV market growth.

Tomek Gac

Tomek Gac

Tomek is a cleantech fan and it shows in all of his endeavors. His courier company, Quriers, is unique in delivering parcels using electric cars and bicycles -- a revolutionary approach in a country like Poland. His other company, Energia Slonca, explores opportunities for solar PV panel installations for private and corporate clients. Juggling many tasks while managing these two businesses and engaging in even more green activities and e-mobility development, Tomek is also a family man who finds time for his wife and three children. Supporting cleantechnica.pl and the Cleantech Revolution Tour are part of his “free time” activities.

Viktor Irle

Growing up in an auto-producing city in Sweden, Viktor has had an interest in cars for as long as he can remember. Writing his thesis about speed-controlled electric engines, and later studying industrial transformation and technological change, the great emerging opportunities of EVs made him jump on the train and co-found EV-Volumes, which is aimed at becoming the premier source of EV industry sales data and broader EV consultancy. I'd say it's already there with regards to EV industry sales data.

Zachary Shahan

Zachary Shahan

Zach is the director and editor of CleanTechnica as well as EVObsession.com and SolarLove.org (two sites he founded in 2012). He’s also the president of Important Media, which is the parent network to those three sites and ~20 others.

Zach has been referenced or interviewed by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, CNBC, Reuters, and numerous other news outlets and websites. He has also presented, provided workshops, and moderated panels at clean energy and electric vehicles conferences in the US, Canada, India, and Europe. In 2013, Zach was named one of the top 20 influencers on fuel economy matters alongside President Obama, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, the US Secretary of Energy, Nissan & Renault Chairman & CEO Carlos Ghosn, GM’s CEO and president, and several other car company execs as well as a few leading auto journalists.
